You know what I mean – campfires, night hikes, swimming in the lake, stories in the bunk beds before lights out, and lots of time spent outdoors. These are things we think of when we think of summer camp. You can find all of these things at Camp Canopy. Yes, we spend large parts of our days in the woods studying the trees and the wildlife, but we also work very closely with FFA Camp Muskingum staff so you also get to partake in good ol’ fashioned summer camp activities.
Often times, those same activities have a bit of a Camp Canopy twist to them – one year a camper spend his time during the talent show designing a fishing fly. At Camp Canopy’s campfire, we traditionally have one of our very own forestry instructors play guitar and sing for us (#weloveSuperDave). During recreation breaks, there is swimming, kayaking, and volleyball but there is also archery, hiking, and tree ID. So please don’t think you will miss out on a traditional summer camp experience by attending Camp Canopy. You will get that and So. Much. More.
