Over the past few years, we’ve had campers tell us that they would like to get out in to the woods and just hike. So we thought, why not? This year campers will have the opportunity to go on themed hikes during recreation breaks on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. These hikes will be lead by camp instructors, but we promise we won’t be stopping every minute to teach you. We want you to lead these hikes with questions and observations. We do want to guide you a little bit, so each of the hikes will be themed – a bird watching hike, tree ID hike, and ecology hike (which, let’s be honest, could really be anything). So as you are packing your bags for Camp Canopy this summer, be sure to remember your hiking shoes!
